Lacrosse vs. blood cancer – LimeGreen Lacrosse balls save the day

Earlier we reported about the University Lacrosse team of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and their participation in a typification event of the DKMS Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei. The simple wipe of a cotton bud into your mouth and the registration with the DKMS system can make you a possible donator for bone marrow and stem cells and can, in this way, help people affected by blood cancer to get life-saving treatment. To support the mission of the DKMS in getting more possible bone marrow donators and , thereby, in fighting blood cancer, LimeGreen Lacrosse decided to give out free lime green lacrosse balls to all the players that took part in the typification event of the DKMS.CIMG2090

We are working closely and with a lot of effort towards getting events like this in other countries besides Germany. At the moment the DKMS operates in Germany, Poland, Spain, the UK and the United States of America. Iformation HERE

If your club or your team wants to take part at a similar event like the KIT did and wants to become bone marrow donators, let us know and we will provide you with all information and contact to the DKMS you need. We got plenty of lime green Lacrosse balls in our stocks that just wait to find a bone marrow donator.
