Last weekend (check out a short report on the ELL webpage) the four teams competing in the ELL had the last chance to prepare themselves for the real deal, the final tournament on October 19th in Radotion. After Wolves dominated tournament 2 and 3 they will be going in the semifinals first seated and play against last seated Pietro Filipi. Defending champion form 2012 and second seated Deutschland Adler will face Custodes, the home team. The winner of the semifinals will compete for the 2013 ELL championship on October 19th as well.

Looking at this year’s competition so far all teams showed great potential offensively and defensively so we can expect close games and intense box lacrosse of its finest. All the games so far already show the attractiveness of European Box lacrosse and provide a solid base for the growth of box lacrosse as well.

Of course the semifinals and final will be broadcasted live on: www.net-tv.cz

Another great event will take place parallel to the games in Radotin, the first Box lacrosse Level 1 Ref camp to educate and develop professional officiating throughout the European Box lacrosse landscape. The camp is organized by ELF Box Lacrosse coordinator Sean Gibson and will be coached by NLL Ref Greg Hart.

Check out a little promo video for the final tournament:

We are looking forward to great games and a worthy champion of the 2013 ELL competition. An we will be there, reporting from one of the best Boxlacrosse events 2013.
